What is LED Light Therapy?

LED light therapy is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses different wavelengths of light to address various skin concerns. Red light stimulates collagen production, helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles while promoting overall skin rejuvenation. Blue light is effective for targeting acne-causing bacteria, which helps reduce breakouts and prevent new ones from forming.

This therapy is safe for all skin types and offers a relaxing, no-downtime experience. Whether used in a professional setting or with an at-home device, LED light therapy provides an accessible way to improve skin health and appearance.

How Long is the session time?

A typical LED Light Therapy session lasts between 10-20 minutes. The exact duration can vary depending on the  skin treatment area and individual needs. Sessions are designed to be quick and convenient, making it easy to fit into your schedual.

What Does LED Light Therapy feel like?

LED light therapy is typically a comfortable and relaxing experience. During a session, you'll lie down in our massage chair while a panel of LED lights is positioned close to your skin. The lights emit gentle, warm wavelengths that most people find soothing. Unlike some other skincare treatments, LED therapy doesn’t involve heat or discomfort—there’s no tingling, burning, or stinging sensation.

The warmth from the lights can feel like sitting in soft sunlight but without any harmful UV rays. Many people even find it calming and enjoy the gentle warmth, making it a great treatment for those seeking a painless and peaceful skincare experience.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of LED Light Therapy Sessions needed can vary depending on your skin concerns and goals. Generally, a course of LED Light Therapy treatment may range from 4 - 12 sessions, typically scheduled once or twice per week. After the initial series, maintenance sessions every few weeks are recommended.

How to Use Our Automated Light Therapy Room

*Please note- No shoes are permitted on the massage chair, socks are strictly required.

  1. Press the on button on the side of the machine.

  2. On the left side of the LCD screen, select your desired light source:

    • Red |

    • Blue | |

    • Infrared | | |  

  3. The LED machine is preset to a 10-minute treatment. Press play (|>) to start.

  4. Put on protective glasses, remove shoes, and put on socks.

  5. Sit in the massage chair, press the on button, and it will begin to recline.

  6. Adjust the treatment head to a comfortable position. Caution: Do not pull the head. It only adjusts from horizontal to a semicircle.

  7. When the treatment ends, the lights will turn off, and music will play, indicating the session is over.

  8. Press the off button on the massage chair, and it will return to its original position.

  9. Turn off the LED machine by pressing the same button you used to turn it on.

  10. Wipe down the protective glasses with antibacterial wipes.
